^ not sure it's about coddling, though. It might not be a great thing to do, but whether it's scummy is whole other thing.

I don't think he's scum, not at the moment. but I do think it was anti-town of both him and diva to out that they were vanila if that's what they are.

Actually, I'm a bit more suspicious of mattshizzle (I think I spelled that right) for suggesting a mass claim to begin with. irre's claim sounded a bit too specific for her to be lying about it but still a bad idea for her to have claimed so quickly, imo.
I think you've got shizzle and irre confused. Irre suggested the mass out. shizzle jumped on it.

and yeah, he did look scummy for it, but...shizzle. ratz players will have to decide whether to adapt the game to him and coddle him on day 1, or do what logic dictates when a player's behavior is scummy looking.

I guess i did switch them. Yes, irre. i do find anyone suggesting a mass claim, especially on day one, to be suspect.

In the only other game i played here, Ratz Drama Mafia, someone had the bright idea for a safe claim on day 3 or 4. I think it was Gonzo. Town lost. You were scum in that game if i recall correctly, irre. You should know how detrimental mass claiming can be to town. I was against it then and I am against it now. FOS.

Nope, you don't remember correctly. I was town and was killed by both the vig and scum the first night. And I didn't follow the game after I was dead. So adjust your FoS levels accordingly.

Irre was town in that game and scum killed her on night 1. And yeah, it was Gonzo who suggested the claims.

Well, regardless, most everyone claimed and we lost. I was the holdout until I had no real choice in the matter.
Sorry I confused you with someone else but that should not negate the point I was trying to make.
Admittedly, my suspicions aren't enough to throw down a vote considering we still haven't heard from half the players. Others need to start chiming in. Its very possible that only town are participating at the moment and scum might be willing to just sit back and let us go after each other.

Outing as town on day one ...how does that help town ? It's not like anyone is going to be convinced . And fossing the first player to post esp if it's a 'oh Hi there just checking in' post is not scummy . I am unsure as to the whole game dynamic and as how it's going to work BUT proposing a mass out is just a bad idea ! there appear to be more people at this party than players .
Far too much stress is being placed on the fact that a few players have seen Oblivions scum game
