Curious ... what's the scum win/town win ratio at TR .. and how does it compare with ratz mafia?oblivion wrote:There's probably a happy medium between the two styles that doesn't give so much breathing space to scum teams.

Historically, it hovers around 50-50. Every once in a while we have a PM-allowed game and that tends to skew things a little toward town. Lately, I think scum are probably pulling ahead of town in the stats. It's an arms race.Charlou wrote:Curious ... what's the scum win/town win ratio at TR .. and how does it compare with ratz mafia?oblivion wrote:There's probably a happy medium between the two styles that doesn't give so much breathing space to scum teams.

I haven't really paid that close attention to Ratz mafia, but I think town have won slightly more than 50%. But, you guys don't have an arms race going on yet, where scum take advantage of town strategies. I think this is because town doesn't really have strategies yet. It looks to me like the town specials may have individual game plans, but they don't take advantage of opportunities for help and cooperation from each other.
You guys have the paranoia side of the game down pat. The trust side will probably come with more time.
I'm still not sure what I think of the night-talk in the recent games. I've seen that stuff used to hurt town (by both scum and by town specials), but I've also seen where it could help town.
