Ah it's the "Bolingbroke IVT in the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, Brandon, Manitoba."

Which makes perfect sense because I took that pic in Brandon. :derp:

I'd have said Blenheim Mk. IV/V, but I forgot the Canadians called it the "Bolingbroke".

No. It's British built. And has an interesting connection with dragonflies.

Miles M.39B "Libellula". I knew it was a Miles design straight off, but I had to check the model number.

One I spotted yesterday, at altitude. As soon as I took the photo it changed direction and headed north. :ninja:

"North. Always North."

Looks Galaxy-esque to me.

Could also be an Antonov An-124. Which turns up not far from me at Liverpool Airport as Christmas is approaching, to load up on charity cargo for various deprived parts of the world.

I wondered that, but the bulge at the back seems to suggest the C-5. This was flying along a corridor otherwise populated by Lufthansa aircraft!

Just checked. Looks like it is a C-5 after all. The Antonov An-124 has five shock bodies at the trailing edge of each wing, whilst the C-5 has six.
