Ma Huxley was taking a photo of me the other day with a compact digital camera and she was holding it the wrong way round, pointing at her own face.

You should steer her in the direction of this excellent and informative course.

She would probably set herself on fire if she tried to access the internets.

I was in the antique shop today and saw a camera that didn't have any kind of LCD. Also, there didn't seem to be any place for the battery or memory card. I wonder how it worked. :dunno:
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Maybe a hard copy is in order? I could send a hardback version if you wanted to make it a really special gift.

That type is completely obselete and operated by having a very fast-working artistic leprachaun inside doing a preliminary sketch when the shutter was opened. This sketch was then coloured in afterwards. The cameras became obselete because leprachaun artists are now extinct.
Hope this helps.

Before I got my camera I used to take pictures by 'looking' at something. Then I would get a piece of paper and 'draw' the thing I was 'looking' at.

It was surprisingly effective.

Cool!
Put me in mind of the guy who turned a warehouse (i think it was a warehouse) into a giant camera by making a hole in the door and putting photographic paper on the back wall. Worked a treat. :eddy:

OK, Mr. Photography Person, I have a question. Last night (wee hours of this morning, really) I was out freezing my nutsack to my thigh whilst experimenting with exposures of the night sky. In a bunch of those exposures, I got some weirdness that I have to assume is some sort of chromatic aberration. Any idea as to what it is?
