Today was apparently a day for remembering the Korean and Vietnam Wars, as there was a large display of carnage-rich photography displayed in the park. That meant a lot of vets sitting around thinking deeply and remembering:

he got and then some. And then some more after that. The prospect of any landing other than what's described in the textbooks makes me pucker to the point that this: . looks positively huge in comparison. I can't even imagine what it'd feel like to have people shooting at you in the process.
