Sincerest condolences to RDF staff

Post by charlou » Mon Feb 22, 2010 11:05 pm

I know you people have put in a lot of time and effort, through thick and thin, for that forum. I'm very sorry to see it end this way and you all have my heartfelt sympathy. Virtual hugs to each of you. Image

100% agreed
It's a piece of piss to be cowiz, but it's not cowiz to be a piece of piss. Or something like that.

Thanks Charlou

The staff (past and present) have worked very hard but the thing that upsets everyone is the loss of the forum because that's been the whole point of all the work. I can live with being treated like shit provided it's for a higher cause than my own transient emotions, which RD.net forum is of course.

In 3 years it's become the busiest atheist forum on the Internet but that doesn't seem to rank highly with Josh. He really has no idea what he's throwing away (as I've told him via email, which has not yet been answered).

Could not agree more in offering my sincere thanks and admiration to those selfless enough to serve RDF. Well done, all of you. :td: I hope that most of you will be here and we can enjoy your company, even if not in a staff role.

Keep your strength up!

From me too - I'm sorry you have been treated so badly. :(

Apparently RD and his crew are determined to remain incommunicado on this one, and that wish has been expressed quite clearly - perhaps too clearly.

A big heartfelt thank you to those who helped maintain what was for a time the best forum I've had the privilege of posting on. A forum which has lead to me interacting with some truly great people over the last year-and-a-bit. Your hard work certainly wasn't a waste of time.

Cheers, folks!

It's a huge loss.

I'll be away for a few days (terrible timing), but you guys will be in my thoughts.
