Announcement about RDF
Re: Announcement about RDF
Anyone emailing Richard Dawkins immediately has there entire posting history removed, and is "removed from history."? That fact, and that fact alone suggests to me that Richard Dawkins must be fully aware and complicit in the situation...

Ya Lions here, I was talking to him yesterday. What a guy!ozewiezeloose wrote:LionIRC is here, I've been told. We're still waiting for Memories, Dunsapy and Swiatlo!
I'm hooping that Truth_Seeker and darwin2 make it over here too. I don't know if you guys ever came across them but they were epic warriors of peddling bullpoop in Debunking Creationsim.
darwin2's Space Shuttle analogy will now be remembered as one of RDF's most greatest creationist arguments ever.

Don't remember that one? Can you send it to me? Or post it on the forum somewhere?HughMcB wrote:darwin2's Space Shuttle analogy will now be remembered as one of RDF's most greatest creationist arguments ever.
Re: Announcement about RDF
I have just spent a couple of hours over on RDF reading some of the topics I posted on in 2007 when I first joined RDF. To say I’m upset is an understatement. I think the way the staff and loyal members have been treated on the forum is a disgrace.
I think I will leave it at that as if I said what I think about dawkins it would not be nice reading.

“I wish no harm to any human being, but I, as one man, am going to exercise my freedom of speech. No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind. I am not here, then, as the accused; I am here as the accuser of capitalism dripping with blood from head to foot.”

Thats probably why he's a hermit then, too smart for his peers who probably like to talk about how many women they have (not) .Stephen wrote:Poor guy. He seems like a good kid, but he made more than a few references to what I imagined as his rather hermetic existence. MrsC reckons they're changing the site in order to gain more revenue through advertising (she knows about this sort of stuff!). After all, successful forums don't make money, they merely encourage the growth of community and stimulating debate.

Do we (I use we now that I'm up in this biatch) get many woo promoters here? That makes sense. Although they did not even acknowledge a large donation I made, which is unheard of for charities and such, so they don't know how to encourage future donations.campermon wrote:Jerome23 wrote: humans do shitty thing, and institutionalised atheism suffers from exactly the same problems as instituitonalised religion human beings cock it up
