Sex and gender
I was having a rational conversation with a family member the other day and I discovered that gender and sex are essentially different(looked it up in the dictionary). Sex has to do with your biological parts and gender is to with what sex you identify with from an environmental cultural perspective. I started wondering about some issues after Facebook started bombarding me with Shapiro and knowles videos, pretty annoying but thought provoking. I’ve been wondering about the roles of genes vs environment in determining gender dysphoria or homosexuality. Has there been comclusive studies on any of this stuff?

I'd assume (could be my undoing right there...) that biological sex has a reasonable impact on gender identification. I don't have any evidence to support this. It's just like a feeling, man.

Shapiro was talking about how he thought gender dysphoria was a mental illness.Im not sure if I agree with that or not. Does It make It an illness it’s causing a problem? Does it have to be biologically rooted to be an illness? Would Ben Shapiro call homosexuality an illness too?

So much has been written about it but today gender is a very flexible term with many people realising they have the wrong physical body. In plenty of civilised countries help and understanding is readily available.
