The tabs I used to have at the top are gone.

There are now separate start pages:
https://www.google.com/
http://images.google.com/
https://news.google.com/

With iGoogle you still get the black tabs, but you have to be logged in.

OK, now this is more a technical problem. Only my oldest computer does this.

Google has a black strip with links on top. Only my one computer does not show that strip at any google page.

It has an old monitor, so the TV shaped page may not show the same as a laptop screen. Or modern flat screen.

No, not a virus. I think if I dragged a flat monitor over, it would work OK, now I am stuck using
