I have loads of PMs from people asking why they can't post but I can't answer more than one an hour due to the new PM settings.

I have changed my RD.net sig to link here and I have linked here in one of the articles as well. This change to the forum has greatly distressed me. I spend about an hour or two every day on the forum, reading, learning, and chatting. I feel hurt and betrayed.

I am so glad to see that the community of people who actually are driving change in the world have found a place to regather. I am all for donating to this forum. Where's the PayPal button?

Lak it is of some comfort to hear you grump a bit. It is ,of course, far too soon to digest the current state of the universe. The profound hurt a few nearsighted technicians placed on a lot of good people is rather huge to absorb.

It would be nice to see the band of few old farts to reassemble and exchange pleasantries without the intrusion persons with agendas. The only agenda the OFC ever had was to rid Pensioner's neighborhood of bothersome felons.
