Flora has sent him an email but AFAIK he has not responded to hat yet or beeb seen on either forum. I hope he's alright, either that or on a plan to Los Angeles with a real nuke for Josh!

I went and looked at my thread about Dawkins being at the Edinburgh Science festival, Darwinsbulldog commented on it and I replied, now it's just me talking to myself and there is no trace of his posts ever having existed.

It's like theres been a fucking military coup or something.
In the begining there was nothing. Which then exploded.

Yes, we have 5 confirmed account deletions up to now: CJ, Mazille, Darwinsbulldog, kiki, and Valdez. More than 15000 posts lost, and most of them contributions in Debunking Creationism, General Science, Evolution and Natural Selection.

PS. Looking for a blogger template: 3 columns, dark, something on the gothic vampire side, not very intricate but elegant. If anyone knows of a template like the above PM me. Thanks.

I hope the new format turns out to work for whatever they intend it to and will not be used to silence dissent in debates about science, philosophy and religion.
If the RDF manages a "fresh start", so will the community. I already see lots of familiar faces from over there, I'm looking forward to meeting some of those that left the RDF after the last change for the first time, and of course those that never started to post there in the first place.
To new beginnings! :td:

If you can get all 18 surviving players here, I'll restart the game here tomorrow from 7am with day round #2.

If not, we can start a new one (but not until later in the week) and have some Rationalia dudes join in. Oh wait, that would be us now. No more us and them. I always had a foot in both camps, but that's been taken away.

I'm open to suggestions re the Mafia Game. It was getting bloody interesting.
I'm all for this!

I know now's probably not the best time to be worrying about a game when our beloved(?) mod has got bigger things to worry about, but not knowing who killed me is just killing me! :lay:

Wow - I didn't expect things to pick up again so quickly. Hope we can continue, but I'd be in for a new game, too.
:nono: :nono: ... the game ... I'm getting the gang together ... we are going to finish that game FFS ... I want to be in one game where I last for more than one night!

Fletch: Uh. Well, I've sinned. I didn't take any Polaroids or anything. But, yeah, I've sinned.
Jimmy Lee Farnsworth: The Lord forgives ya!
Fletch: Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Amen. What? Other sins? Uh, I parked in a handicap spot on my way up here. Actually, on a handicap person. I told him I'd be back in five minutes, so that's not such a big deal.

That is vandalism, pure and simple. It is completely indefensible. I want to hear what Dawkins has to say about this.
100% verifiable facts or your money back. Anti-fascist. Enemy of woo - theistic or otherwise. Cloth is not an antiviral. Imagination and fantasy is no substitute for tangible reality. Wishing doesn't make it real.

+1,000,000. And I would say that the total number of deleted posts for those 5 users is actually well over 30,000. :pissed:

CJ alone had well over 10.000, as far as I remember.

Track the fall:

This is a good site to watch what happens when a busy site implodes:

Right now people are still checking in and fooling around. Hit this is a week once people give up and see what the charts do.
