Atheist creationism is just the old 'every one has to believe in something.' Whilst not true in every case a lot of non religious people just swap the non god hypothesis for an ideology.

The phrase "atheist creationism" is a meaningless oxymoron. Your assertion about non-religious "swapping religion for an ideology" is so tenuous as to also be meaningless, unless you assert that it is a particular, identifiable ideology.

In your vague, stumbling fashion, I suspect that you are accusing all atheists of being left-leaning ideologues with a passion for political correctness. There are, of course some of those, but there are atheists with every conceivable political leaning to be found. I suspect you are really targeting the rather intolerant, fussy bunch with that rather odd web site that we (and many others) exposed as utterly ludicrous many moons ago.

I humbley apologize for having to work and deal with real life issues. I am so sooooorrrrryyy.
Who cares what your excuses are. You have no idea how to have a debate. You don't answer questions put to you. Hence why we just ridicule you instead.
Oh do fuck off, the lefty liberal way of debating is just to call people names and smear them, i have yet to see a coherent argument from any left wing wanker. It is funny seeing you all floundering like beached whales now that you have over used your magic words: 'bigot', 'racist', 'sexist', 'misogynist'', 'fascist'. Not that am averse to insulting someone but I at least point out why they deserve the insult before insulting them.
About those unanswered question, Dave... :ask:

This quote explains it better than I can.

People go funny in the head when talking about politics. The evolutionary reasons for this are so obvious as to be worth belaboring: In the ancestral environment, politics was a matter of life and death. And sex, and wealth, and allies, and reputation... When, today, you get into an argument about whether "we" ought to raise the minimum wage, you're executing adaptations for an ancestral environment where being on the wrong side of the argument could get you killed... Politics is an extension of war by other means. Arguments are soldiers. Once you know which side you're on, you must support all arguments of that side, and attack all arguments that appear to favor the enemy side; otherwise it's like stabbing your soldiers in the back - providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

You're not even trying anymore, my political position has change since I have been on Rationalia (due to listening to the other side of the argument) whilst yours hansn't moved one iota, it is like it is set in stone, dogmatic even. No wonder Seth thinks atheism is a religion as he must take you for an example. The difference between you and me is I will chanllenged my preconceptions and that thought has never crossed your mind.

One of the more egregious ones, that's for certain.

Oh, it crossed his mind. It crosses his mind all the time, he just always chooses to look the other way when it does.

It's a good quote. Politics shouldn't be a team sport that one follows for entertainment. It's too fucking serious for "Fans". We need informed voters.

Yeah, as long as they are informed only of your position on matters political and vote as you direct. If they become informed in ways you do not approve of, you want them reeducated and reindoctrinated into the "proper" way of thinking and you want to censor contrary opinions, which is the case with all democrat Progressive Marxists.

Yeah, the fact that he aligns with Seth is enough evidence in itself that he lacks reasoning abilities. Even without the addition of his drunken rants.

What I want to know is how do people like that wind up at rationalist sites and despite the fact that no other rationalists agree with them they have the belief that they are the rationalist and thousands of others are irrational? I reckon they suffer under the same mental problems that conspiracy theorists suffer. A total disconnect with reality. Fuck, I wish there was somewhere we could hang out without having to listen to these clowns.

Dave has always replied to my posts with a certain humor and aplomb. Maybe I missed where he called out rEvo, but I didn't think he took himself so superserious as to warrant Scott following him around and rEv getting his IBS in an uproar.

Well, you know me. I'm offended by stupidity, particularly when it is claimed to be otherwise. If he wanted to have a calm debate about this, he could get it, both here and at ratskep (as can be proved by Nicko over there). But he seems to be a drunk who can't help but spewing rants like a maniac. And yeah, I like a good rant myself, but at least I try and address the underlying points while ranting. He just doesn't seem capable of well thought out debate.
