If Josh T had any respect for other life forms then why is there no obvious sign up saying that the RD.net forum is closed?
It seems that people are still joining up from the new usernames appearing in the “newest members”.

The usernames are supposed to be being migrated.. so he probably has no reason to stop people signing up.

They have to do that to allow people to post on the Front Page. They should still add some sort of a notice though.

I have a theory. I was engaged in a detailed discussion with LittleIdiot about his idea that when you experience things they become un-experiencable in the physical world. I experienced the forum after his last post and POOF! No more RDF. Spooky.

Yes, I managed to get a PM thbrough to Richard Dawkins' personal inbox and it was opened. However, I have not had the courtesy of a reply. I provided my personal e-mail to him for contact purposes and I've checked RDF a few times. Nothing.

So it's safe to say he's in the loop about all that has happened. We all supplied the information about how we have been treated and the duplicity involved. The thing that really gets me is that he may indeed have read our version of things and then seen the latest update where everything is blamed on us. I understand that he is very busy at this point, but from this point on his silence is speaking volumes.

It could be that he's very prudently trying like hell to catch up on all that happened, read the emails, maybe communicate with Josh, et al, etc. All while pursuing a busy schedule. Just think how long it has taken some of us to read through all that's been posted about this, and we don't have the responsibility he does. Remember, everyone is waiting for him to make a statement about this, and he knows it. He'd better be damn sure of what he wants to say, and to do that, he'd better have the facts, and make sure they really are the facts.

So it doesn't surprise me that we haven't heard from him. It doesn't necessarily mean one thing or another - yet.

I logged in RDF and see that most threads that i participate in are inactive.. I take a better look and realize that many people have moved.. Then i follow the invitation sent to me, sign in here where i find most of my "forum- pals" and try to find out what happened. I try following the RDF- link and "no topic exists" anymore.. Can someone update me in few and simple words?

UPDATE: I can still see the staff forum section, it's just my colour that's returned to normal.

Just out of curiosity, can anyone who ISN'T a mod see the staff sections, or only ex-mods?
