In previous life: mechtheist. I was already getting a wee bit bilious due to excessive lunacy out there in teh real world lately, and then this ! Hence the new name, too subtle?

The new digs-looks like a great place, feel very welcome.

Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Judging from your avatar, you really, really love Jesus! :FBM:

This will be a little complicated, but I’m sure it will still be reasonably understandable. :ask:

Old: Skinny Puppy
New: Skinny Puppy

I know I shouldn’t have gone wild with my name change, but it’s a new forum, a new me and I really felt the need to express myself with a totally new and unique (I might add) identity.

Hopefully my old friends at RDNet will still be able to see even a tiny similarity between my new and old identity. :naughty:

Should there be any confusion at all, remember, I’m only a PM away and I’m eager to please.

(Note: this ridiculous and childish message has been approved of by Puppy.) :hehe:

Still Me, which is more than RDF can say. For what it's worth sent off this email to the site admin.

G'day,

This closing of the forum... y'now in the name of all that's decent, can't you consider that you might possibly be wrong? It's a global community ffs. Surely people have a right to be heard and say their thanks and their goodbyes? An act of unspeakable fascism, I shall be reviewing my attitudes towards Professor Dawkins for allowing this action to be taken in his name.

I'd better stop there, i'm just getting angrier - Grey
The strategic adversary is fascism... the fascism in us all, in our heads and in our everyday behavior, the fascism that causes us to love power, to desire the very thing that dominates and exploits us.- Michel Foucault

Hey, all. I made the harrowing escape from Josh-land and will, hopefully, continue my anti-theistic operations in this friendlier environment. Now, I have to figure out how to find my beloved avatar.

Damnit, why was I so uncreative as to stay the same.? Why? Whhhhhy?

Oh yeah, because I have already made the DanDare avatar badge for use at the Global Atheist Conference.

Boy, it took a while to find the submit button, but I will press it n

[edit]ow. By the way, glad to see my friends again. I have just spent a truly dark hour trying to find out what was going on. What a piece of community shattering fascism![/edit]
The new forum, a pheonix indeed, is at http://www.rationalskepticism.org. Ex RDF guys, that is home for those that want it.

Welcome guys!
I was FigurinItOut over at RDF. Shortened it to FIO for this place. Haven't posted there in quite some time though, so I don't recognize many of you.

Hello! It is something of a relief to find some friendly names and avatars here. I was only nleonard on RD.net, but this butchery has brought me fully out. Now I just have to sort out my avatar. Cheers, and could someone point me to the haiku thread? :td:
