No. She declined to join during the first purge and she didn't seemed swayed now.

(from my recollection)

It was Fizzle - good on him.

I think I'll edit in Pete's blog post, while I have the chance!

Yes, I think you're right. Shame - she's great.

Oh, shame. It was nothing particularly important, but she asked for my opinion on a book, over at the book rec thread. Man, I loved that thread.

The contents of the letter explained what was going to happen to staff and what we shouldn't do. There was no personal or confidential information in that letter. It was exactly the same as the one to members but with the addition of telling staff that the plan to include them in developing the new area wasn't happening and that their services wouldn't be required on the new website. There were also clear directives about what staff shouldn't do. I think it should have been left up there with the other one as they do go together but perhaps they didn't want the membership to know what they'd said to staff.
Post the letter here.

I see no reason why you couldn't.

We all became Mormon and left RD.net.
Put on your magic underpants and pick a wife. Or two.
Just don't pick one that turns out like Joyce McKinney. Yes, I can find a way of shoe-horning her into
any thread if I put my mind to it!
Meanwhile, hello again, small grey pigeon! I always thought your avatar had a certain poignancy about it for some reason. As if the pigeon in the pic sensed that the object it was pecking at could somehow connect it to lost members of its flock, if only it knew how. An appropriate interpretation in the circumstances ...

I think Hack swore at someone?
Whoa, that's like totally out of character for him.
It's all just general business here at RDF though.. Wait.. the logo looks different...
And for some reason, when I click on a link here it loads immediately. Toto, this doesn't look like Kansas anymore.

Nah everything loads super quick over at RDF too now. It seems like the problem was having members and letting them do stuff on the site. Once Josh fixed that little problem, the thing just whizzes along!

I think she thinks we are all still here just so we can talk filthy.
I mean all that in the nicest sense, each to his own.

While I was waiting for my Internet connection to return to sanity, I was watching The Abyss on DVD. I'm increasingly starting to think of Josh as being the weedy, seven stone weakling version of the guy who turns into a fruit loop in the film, and tries to nuke the underwater aliens because he thinks they all speak Russian or something. The difference being, Josh succeeded where the psycho with the Trident warhead failed.
