I'm not attacking him. There's other posts that are much more insulting to him. I was honestly curious and I think it's a valid question. It's pretty obvious that he didn't joint just for fun.

and it's pretty obvious he's not coming to actually discuss his side of the matter (at least not with us)... his only post amounts to "look at my blog"... I move we treat him like any other spambot.

I get the feeling being on staff is about to become really shit.

Josh - how many times must it be repeated that it was PRECISELY many factors involved in the EXECUTION of the decision to remove the forum that really, really got people's backs up? You must have been reading selectively the past x months - or perhaps your mind conveniently rewrites history for you. And if you can't fully appreciate why people got worked up, then you must be far more emotionally naive than I'd feared. Or is this just more narcissistic manipulation, perhaps?

As for the forum going for "political reasons" - I thought that was bollocks at the time, the forum staff thought it was bollocks at the time, I still think it's bollocks… I think it was primarily about saving money, actually. I just wish people would be straight-up about such things.

And I for sorrow sung,

Well there you go. A strategic move on his part. What other reason could there be? He wants to be friends and chat? Speak up Josh! You want people on your side without an explanation other than your blog? I don't think it's gonna work. Or do you think some of us are too dumb to notice it? You have a history with us. It's not like we just heard about you. So clear your self and let us know the truth.

Maybe if joshy hadn't spent all the profits on his mother substitute's swimming pool RDF would still be going.

What goes around.....

But also, however smart Richard Dawkins might be, he has proven himself to be a piss poor judge of character.

Welcome to the forum.

Josh, you are a brave guy - I give you credit for having the cajones to show your face here. I do hope this isn't just a fly by post on your part. I for one would like to hear what you have to say.

I would urge everyone to ask Josh questions that are reasonable, and try to keep a respectful tone.

Josh, it would be nice since you started this thread made this post for you to answer people's questions whenever you can if you can't for legal reasons, just say so.

I want to know about why you quit the foundation. I also want to know if Dawkins ever tried to mediate any of this first? Did you offer to mediate?

He didn't start the thread, it was split from another one.

I wonder how the unpaid members of staff on RDF feel about the salary the charity was paying Josh ?

They probably feel shitty and screwed by Josh and RD.

The unpaid members of the staff volunteered...they did it out of love and a desire to give back. Just because they may have been screwed by two people, doesn't erase the fact that they served all of us, who loved and appreciated them.

I'm sorry I couldn't pay them cash, but I sure hope they loved all my appreciation, hugs and big wet kisses!!!! :flowers: :cuddle:
