But... the vast majority of theists are either not up to arguing about it or are so divorced from rational thought that arguing is just no fun. That leaves in-fighting as the most entertaining option.

Pretty much every defense I've seen from so far is a comment on how the admins/mods either set up a rule or adjusted a rule to stifle dissenting opinions or ban them on some arbitrary criteria.

From what I've seen in this thread alone, it seems that a lot of subtle humour is failing. THere seems to be a lot of people claiming what they said was humour after the fact.

WTF?!? I think you have that arse-backwards. THe first few pages of the GS derail here involved a lot of people telling us from RS how stuck up our forum and moderators were. Sheesh man, you couldn't have failed harder if you tried.

The key point for me (and I think for many other Ratz posting here) is that we really do recognise that RatSkep is a different forum, with its own culture and rules, which seem to suit most people there, and deep down, it's their business. For me, any criticisms I might have of modding styles are very small beer in the scheme of things, and the differences between us are vastly less important than the similarities...
