Different missions than we have, I think. Badly handled because they're not part of the community, but there it is.

Have you seen who's recommending it here, ad nauseam? :ddpan:
I've been a little. :? ... but I was just passing it on after I read others saying that this is where most people are coming.

I kind of like it here, and it seems that many others do too. I will try to spread out a little, though (I know that we're a pain in the ass for the tech people...). I like the off-topic stuff here, but I'll probably go to JREF and the rationalscepticism site for the more serious stuff... but everyone knows that the OT stuff is my forte', so I'll probably spend most of my time here... unless I'm shoed off, that is.

There'll be no shooing off on my watch!
We have no great war, no great depression.
Our great war is a spiritual war.
Our great depression is our lives.

Nobody will ever shoo you off here. If you are comfortable then you'll stay and that'll be an end to it. You're a member now and always as we have a non-banning policy as long as the server is funded Ratz will be here, staff may come an go, members may come and go but you can put down as firm a roots here as you like.

Can I just say that you guys on this forum have been immensely wonderful and I will definitely be back to post here later when the dust settles down.

However, for now, I think there is a lot more spleen to be vented as more refugees return. I can well imagine it's not nice to have your community become a viewed platform for that kind of material. So I'm going to go and spleen vent at rational skepticism, even if they did spell it with a K, and will point any stragglers i meet that way.

I can't thank you enough!

 Don't be a stranger. We have a non-banning policy so as long as there is a server you will always be able to pull up a chair an chew the fat. Now go get Dawkins and Josh!

You're welcome, I think the fact that we went through this exact situation last year helps because we know what you're going through.
