Sure, explain away. Someone of such obvious skill in engineering your recent sock puppets will have much to say about the incidence of false positives in RatSkep's list of banned members.

Umm, how would we know about false positives from the banned members list?? If they aren't well known member's socking, then they are just going to disappear without any further comment. But as I've explained a few times already they ban TOR ip's as a matter of policy. Unless every use of TOR is a sock then they are banning people who aren't socks. I.e. false positives. Not to mention the business of banning people in the same household without actually knowing whether they are the same person or not.

There's a member list, saying which are banned. You could identify them, take out the people you know weren't socks, eg. your original account, Tyrannical, Seth, all that lot. Those left would be either spammers or socks. Then you could remove those who you know were socks, like epete and Seth's sock, and those whose posting history shows only spamming, and you would be starting to get towards identifying false positives...OK yes, I possibly have aspergers.

Why would they? And even if they did, why would ratskep have access to it and not google maps?? No, they don't have anything more precise than Sydney.

You could use Hotspot Shield, which allows you to select (and change) your country of origin. It sets up a VPN between you and their servers so all anyone sees is their server IP.

Haha, yes, I was a forum admin too. And IT educated as well. There's only so much you can do at the far end of a network connection. Just thinking about this some more while taking my arvo beach walk, I wonder if there's a way to get general device info (not MAC address, but more like brand and type of device). Even though my device is full Windows OS, it's a tablet, so perhaps MS send that info off with http requests. It's not a common tablet, I imagine, so that with the other stuff might have been enough for them to feel sure enough. Either that, or they just took a guess and got it right. Expanding on my last post to surrender monkey, we don't hear about the false positives. Those people just disappear without a whimper.

I think they don't give a fuck who they ban or why, they just do it if it pleases them to do it. Say something, anything out of line with the official dogma and you're gone. I suppose we can thank our lucky stars that the worst they can do is ban us, as opposed to what martinets and wannabe dictators usually do, which is to exterminate those who disagree with them.

Wouldn't surprise me if a goodly number of the fuckwits over there are all in favor of liquidating dissenters, it's just they don't have the power to do so...yet.
