I haven't tangled with the mods for ages - I don't find them very invasive although perhaps that's just because I don't post many controversial views. I did lay into Nicko pretty hard and they really had no choice but to suspend me for 24 hours. I was drunk as a lord and just couldn't take his slur on my character with a cool head. Still sucks you got banned though....I'm still clueless as to what you did to deserve it.

I think some people participating in this thread were recently inquiring elsewhere about what "virtue signalling" is. They need look no further beyond KIR's contribution to this topic. Entirely concerned with making sure everyone knows he is more "anti-paedophile" than everyone else; entirely unconcerned with actually decreasing the incidence of kiddy fiddling.

What's going on with you SD? Still involved with the lib dems after their (unwarranted) demonisation in the coalition? I'm torn between labour and green (ideal) but if you can back a small party then why shouldn't I. If I vote with my heart, I vote green every time, but in the cheltenham constituancy they don't stand a chance! If only the lib dems could have forced PR - I know they didn't have enough power to do that but I hope it's still a central doctrine of their manifesto. What you sayin'?
