Yeah, maybe just a smidge. I do like a long entry - something to really get my teeth into. The broader the better.

Take from the makers to give to the takers. That way you deincentivize the makers whilst giving nothing to incentivize the takers. Lose/lose, socialism in a nutshell.

Does it even matter to you any more that you tell the truth? You'd do yourself the biggest favour ever if your NEW new resolution was to just quit being a whiny baby who blames everyone else for their problems. I'm not horrible, you're a perpetual fucking victim.

Why don't you hang out here, Fallible? What does an intelligent girl get out of that den of mass conformity and sycophancy over there?

If it's any consolation, in reality moderation has gone incredibly quiet over the last few months. I keep going on about how it reminds me of the plot of Dead Set, when the zombie apocalypse has broken out, but the cast of Big Brother keeps acting up to the camera, totally unaware that no one is watching them anymore. I'm there because there are some genuinely nice, clever and insightful people still whose company I enjoy, and because I was in at the beginning and there's a smidge of pride which doesn't allow me to give up just yet. I still hold out a tiny fraction of hope that they'll turn it around, get the balance right. I did the whole wailing and gnashing of teeth thing about moderation, I was at it for years, to the point that I was apparently considered a troll, not by the fucksticks who can't cope with a mouthy female who trot that out now, but by the mods and their BFFs. Also you've got a couple of balls-out morons here who I'd have to entertain, because I just can't help myself, and I'm old now and have to think of my blood pressure.

You have some leeway to troll the morons here, so there is that. But it does get a bit depressing at times with the bigots and hate mongerers.

Fallible is not horrible. She is however brutally honest which may be why KIR thinks she is a judger and
hater. So while I can understand why he would make such an assumption it is an entirely fallacious one
