Though you lefty/liberals keep worrying about what 37 gender pronouns to use and which bathroom someone has access to. Which is so important to people living hand to mouth just like the mythical wage gap, white privilege and censoring Twitter and Facebook in case someone gets their fee fees hurt. Your hasty generalisations bankrupt your own point. OK, some lefties are loonies, but then again so are some righties. Some lefties have a legitimate concerns and so do some righties, but some of their concerns are irrelevant, and some are just stoopid. Same goes for policies. People are people; folks is folks, but it's clear to anyone who cares to think about these things that the declared pole of one's political compass does not imbue one's ideas with default rectitude nor bestow automatic virtue upon those who hold that viewpoint. There is a legitimate point to be made, in the wake of Brexit and Trump, that some of the middle-class left have lost touch with reality slightly. All the gender and sexual identity concerns are real and important. But they aren't the primary concern of the growing ranks of the poor. First and foremost they are concerned with employment, job security, pay, healthcare, education etc. They are living too precarious an existence to worry too much about equal treatment of tiny groups of minorities. Until the middle-class left wakes up to this fact, extreme right demagogues will become an increasing threat to our societies.

Close but no cigar. The working class and the poor were written off and ignored, when they voice their concerns, well they were mocked and abused, called all filthy names as nothing should be allowed to stand in the way of 'progress.' They are just ignorant peasants after all and they should listen to their betters. Well what a surprise when someone does listen to them they quickly gain popularity. Jesus fucking Christ this is nothing new, it has been happening since the birth of democracy. Plato wrote about it in his opus 'The Republic.' He spoke of the plebs electing a local 'strongman' to counter the elites and the oligarchs, trouble is his answer was that the ruling classes are allowed to lie to the plebs, like all philosophers he was a massive cunt. Even if Brexit and Trump are not the answer, I haven't meet anyone who cares about that, they are just so exasperated that they just wanted to burn the motherfucker down, just wanted someone to notice they exist. Though now they have notice that they are not alone and they can win. 2016 was amazing and I'm now looking forward to a great 2017.
