Fake Tears, Fake Emotions?

There is a lot of anecdotal evidence that women can fake tears and other emotions more than is healthy. Is this true and are there any studies in socio-pathological differences between men and women? I wonder if men play the long game on 'the faking it' scene and therefore get into politics whilst women play a game with a more direct return and become 'gold-diggers' for want of a better term?
What will the world be like after its ruler is removed?

Anyone who generalises is an idiot. It's never a good idea. It always ends in tears. Because there are always exceptions to every rule. Trust me, I'm always right.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Tears aren't the only faked emotions.

There's also faked love and faked interest/ faked giving a shit.
