I just discovered a new word: sapiosexual.

That's me, that is. Another pigeon-hole to slot myself into ('scuse the pun).

One who finds intelligence the most sexually attractive feature.
"I want an incisive, inquisitive, insightful, irreverent mind. I want someone for whom philosophical discussion is foreplay. I want someone who sometimes makes me go ouch due to their wit and evil sense of humor. I want someone that I can reach out and touch randomly. I want someone I can cuddle with.

I decided all that means that I am sapiosexual."

I find it difficult to get turned on by someone who is stupid... regardless of how "hot" they are, aesthetically. To me, it is little better than bestiality... or masturbation using someone else's body. Neither of which appeal in the slightest. But when the mind of the woman is capable of so much more... and I'm giving that mind pleasure... damn, but that's hot. Did I share too much?

(adj) A form of sexual orientation characterized by a strong attraction to intelligence in others, often regardless of gender and/or conventional attractiveness.

I'm not so sure about the gender issue. I remain an unwavering hetero, but intelligent men are enjoyable company... but very much in a non-bodily-fluid-sharing kind of way.

Hm. I just checked the Urban Dictionary link, and supposedly sapiosexual means brains to the point that looks aren't considered.

That is not me.

What can I say? I want it all.

Fortunately, my taste in looks is varied.
