All of everything that has superficial similarities looks alike to an observer that doesn't have much familiarity with them.

Quadratic equations all look much more alike to me than they do to Jim. To my computer, there is little difference between Justin Beiber and a Bach cantata. A JPEG and an essay look about the same to me when viewed as a string of ones and zeros. To an illiterate, Shakespeare may as well be Dick and Jane.

You may claim that racism is "natural". OK: it's natural in the same sense that illiteracy is natural.
