My Results:

Northeastern This could either mean an r-less NYC or Providence accent or one from Jersey which doesn't sound the same. Just because you got this result doesn't mean you don`t pronounce R's.(People in Jersey don`t call their state "Joisey" in real life)
Same. NY must be the American equivalent of Merseyside, or something.

Same here - maybe all foreigners default to a NY accent in that quiz?

Oddly enough, I have a Western accent-- though by rights I should sound like I'm from the northeast.

I probably sound a bit Texan now. I'm like a chameleon. We both eat flies.

Which American accent do you have?
Northern
You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for.
In other words, I speak English the way it's meant to be spoken

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Sounds normal to me.

(They're never going to learn to talk right, so we'd best just humor them.

Aren't you British? Or..why was Percy written in British-English...we don't have another pretender here, do we?

No I'm not British

I just like British things. Since the Percy story was set in England, I tried to make it sound as authentic as possible. Several Brits here helped me with that, though some mistakes still ended up slipping by unfortunately.

You don't need it to be in British-English for it to be set in Britain. But I get what you mean. Well, there's some of your mystique being torn away. Not British, you say! Well, I never!
