October 31, 2011, will mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Lily and James Potter. I hope you will join me in a day of prayer and remembrance.

I thought maybe they were real people, and I was going to joke, "You mean Harry's parents?"... but then I looked them up, found out that was actually what you meant, and posted this anyway just to increment my meager post count.

I was just re-reading the last HP book and realized that Harry's 31st birthday was June 30th(?) and we missed it.
