I want one of those t-shirts.

I'm sorry but as much as I like English people and have many friends from over there my Irish culture demands that we revel in England losing things like sports and war.

Ah, the knee jerk cultural cringe and envy of the foreigner manifesting itself in insults.

I have that attitude to Rugby Union, because supporters of the English RU side are the absolute worst winners I have ever come across in all my years of watching and attending sport of various kinds. Wankers, almost to a man.

I'm just indifferent to the rest of their teams.

I get the same way about Man United. I could almost bring myself to support Derby County against them. :|~

... and the Australians, of course. Pompous in victory, unbearable in defeat.

We, the gentle, misunderstood, guardians of the free world, the English; we take this in good humour. Our northern neighbours are just having a bit of fun.
Besides, if you can't make a bit of money how can an honest Scot afford any methadone?
