... seriously.
This morning I watched a few hours of the night session from the Aussie Open tennis.
But now the soccer matches have started, six in all: One Scottish, two English, one Italian ... and the first two matches from the African Cup of Nations.
And there's the snooker - the two semi-finals from the UK Masters.
There's also 20-20 cricket on late tonight, although the tennis will have started again. There are also extensive soccer and rugby highlight programs later this evening.

No such thing as too much sport on telly ever.

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Well, too much crap on the telly, not much that is really interesting, and they make you pay a licence in addition to having to stand the fucking advertisements.

I don't mind watching cricket at times, although I find most of the 20/20 stuff fairly artificial contests...
Aussie rules football in winter is the only other thing, plus some of the summer and winter olympics when they happen...
I watch less TV overall as time goes on, for some reason...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

I watch more in absolute terms, compared to my youth when there was very little live sport on TV.
But I watch much less of what's available. There were 12 live soccer matches on over the weekend, but I doubt I watched (all told) the equivalent of 2 games worth, and even that would be stretching it.

Fat? I walked 15 miles yesterday, and if it wasn't for all that pesky sport, I might have walked a good deal more.

Watch reality TV instead!
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

I quit watching TV. I turned the brightness all the way up and was still getting the same stupid programs.
