Yes, your batsmen have done very well. Our bowling has been quite good, as well, if not inspired...

You're really really lucky that Broady is injured. Fully fit he'd knock off the necessary before tea. Can't expect a lot from a cripple though. :shifty:

And the fat lady sings. Well done to Australia, England pretty much humiliated. Good knock from Stokes, though. Embarrassing for some of the senior batsmen, this young shaver showing them how it should be done. Can't see England winning a game at the moment.

Maybe not, but it was a pretty good attempt at a chase, no cheap surrender. Also, psych themselves up as they may, it may be a little harder for the Aussies to retain the same intensity once the series has been won.

The inquest starts here......too much cricket / too little cricket / sticking with old establised players / bringing in too many younger players / Pietersen is a bear of very little brain etc etc etc

The players might want to stick to the People's Friend for a few months.

I guess it all goes to show how thin the line between success and failure is. England won the first series this year 3-0, but it could easily have been very different. This time ...

England flattered to deceive, the warning signs were there.

Boycott will be unbearable in his "I told you so" smugness.

I mean, even more so than usual.
