Well, 20/20
is unimportant, win or lose. The one day game has enough time for at least a modicum of subtlety and tactics, unlike hit and giggle...

I thought it was the games you win that are the important ones. Hence it's more important to beat SA in SA than in Aust, and more important to thrash the crap out of England in Aust than to beat them in England. Clearly one dayers are VERY important, especially the world cup, but 20/20 isn't important until we get a bit better at it.

And now an Australian team won the 20/20 series in India, and Australia has won the first one day match against India...
(It was the NSW state side - they won millions of dollars. They'll only waste it on Sydney whores and cocaine...

Phew!!
England hang on for a draw in Sith Ifrica. Despite a collapse, Graeme Onions and Paul Collingwood survive the last 19 balls to much relief in the northern hemisphere.
I now need some new fingernails!!

Ambrose and Walsh? Hm? Isn't it? Not half!

Wouldn't want to be their keeper!
Ambrose and Walsh, fearsome as they were, both started in the 1980s, but the bulk of both men's careers spanned the 1990s. They retired in 2001. The really terrifying 1980s pace attack was Michael Holding, Malcolm Marshall, Andy Roberts and Joel Garner, with Colin Croft as backup. I believe that they actually played all five on more than one occasion.

England appear to be doing quite well in South Africa. SA 40/2 in their second innings and still 192 behind from the first. 4 sessions to go and Swanny making the ball dance like a ballerina.
Stop press: Make that 40/3 - Broad chips in with the prize wicket of Kallis!!

... well it was - but the South Africans have asked for a review.

Rained off at 76/6. Forecast not terrible for tomorrow, so we should be able to squeeze 4 more wickets in and take a 1-0 lead to Cape Town.

South Australia actually won by 29 runs in the hit and giggles against Western Australia.
