The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Bad luck XC.

Good luck Leicester tonight!

Fuck Cardiff, their supporters are a disgrace, and don't deserve to be anywhere near the top flight.

As the brother of a lifelong, dedicated Cardiff City fan, I can confirm that their supporters are indeed a disgrace. Have they done anything specific this time?

Haven't heard of anything specific for a while, but they've got a reputation only exceeded by Millwall scum for brutality.

I'm just pissed off that Latics didn't go down - they share our stadium, and make a right mess of the pitch.

Gots lots of acquaintances I can wind up about 8-0, though. Haven't had as much fun since Tottenham 9-1
They will share the stadium even if they play in the championship and will play more home matches.
I know It won't solve the problem, but I'm still in favour of punishment! They (actually, to be fair, not them so much as the soccer media) have the nerve to blame the rugby for the pitch, yet when we finish in October it's like a bowling green, and when we start again in March it's like the Somme. :banghead:

The pitch will be like that because wigan play way more games than the league boys do.

When you add up FA cup league cup and EPL matches it would add to almost 30-40 games a season at DW stadium.

Yes!

Fuck off Cardiff.

Now I'm pretty neutral as far as the final goes, although Blackpool will seem a very odd name to see in the Premier League (no odder than Wigan though, I guess)

1-1 in the Europa League final in Hamburg, about an hour gone. Atletico Madrid were well on top, and looked to be on their way when they scored after about 30 minutes. Fulham equalised a few minutes later though, and it's been much closer since.

Fucking Gaurdian website gave me the impression the play-off match was all over, when it seems it isn't.

Still Leicester in the box seat on away goals, if I read it right.

No away goals rule here, according to the Beeb.

2-1 to Atletico AET. Both goals by Diego Forlan. Still a mystery why he couldn't hit a barn door at Man. U.
