About me: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate and wine in each hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."

Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

You no like Wales?
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Wales is a lovely place.
But if they'd won the World Cup, life would have been simply intolerable for the next four years.

"Instant Karma's going to get you ..."

I carefully ration my intake of schadenfreude, generally reserving if for sporting events involving anyone on "the list" of sportspeople, clubs and teams I have a particular dislike for.

It's a long list. :read:

 Fair enough, but it would have been nice to see them play in the final against the All Blacks. Actually in that case I don't know who I'd be supporting, - I could watch the match without minding which way it went. As it is, I have to be against France.
