Apologising and begging are good ones to start with, before you move on to crying real tears. Then, after years of practice, I finally mastered the art of wetting myself, only to be used in REALLY deadly situations. And don't forget the traditional finish, to cling to the opponents ankle and recite the ritual words "thank you Sir!, thank you, thank you,!" when they decide they'd really rather not touch you.

It's always worked for me.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
