I was here in Korea for the 2002 WC, which they co-hosted with Japan. I went to a couple of games and street celebrations. I, an American who was conditioned from youth to see it as an effeminate game, was converted into a football/soccer fan of sorts by the experience. Mind you, since my conversion happened in Korea, I only give a shit about games that affect Korea's standings.
Shit. I had a point when I started this post, but now I'll be fucked if I can think of it.
I blame Guinness and soju. Both.

Australia beat denmark 1-0 in a "friendly" (i hate that word call it an international) our defensive performance was wonderful and for a warm-up match we did well. Denmark are quality side and when they have their full squad on deck they'll be very hard to break down.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I'd say you have a tough group, though. Obviously there's Germany; there's Ghana as well but you should be able to beat them; then there's Serbia, though: they finished above France in their qualifying group and could really cause you problems.

England won't win this. Sorry lads. It's nothing against you. I'm not sore after the centuries of occupation and oppression. I'm just being realistic.
Plus I can't stand the thought of you boasting about this for the next 40 year yis bastards
