The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."Trolldor wrote:Ahh cardinal Pell. He's like a monkey after a lobotomy and three lines of cocaine.
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I do, but I'm chatting with a WWII vet right now and he's a Cards fan. So I'm keeping up on the series so I can respond to him without sounding like an idiot.redunderthebed wrote:I thought you hated baseball.Zombie Gawdzilla wrote:http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=stl
He was on Bataan, a Death March vet.

Is that where the japs tried to build the railway across SE asia.

I like baseball and want to get to a d-backs game but i think that is impossible unless i win the lottery.

I'll have to go for the next best thing......the australian baseball league.

Go the bite!

Re: American Football
I think they beat the team from my town last week.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

By the way the glorious Oakland Raiders , even with Heisman Trophy winner, Carson Palmer , fell to the Kansas City Chiefs 28- 0
they were in it to the opening kickoff
