This apparent requirement to be sensitivey about the 'cultural appropriation' of food is simply a manifestation of that kind of whinging middle-class 'good taste' which people use to imply they're better than others because they know about wine, or like to lecture you about how a Breton chicken is superior to any domestic chuck.

Breton chicken is superior to any other by the virtue of being Breton, now making it into Chicken Kiev, that's a dream come true...

But not a rooster. A French cock is always foul.

Better a cock than a capon, I always say.

I'm making tuna noodle casserole tonight, because I am jonesing for real 'Murikan comfort food. But then I thought - fuck! Noodles aren't 'Murikan! I'll be culturally appropriating somebody. Maybe I have to make it with corn? Corn is 'Murikan, right? Except - it's Redskin 'Murikan, so as a white boy I'm probably not allowed to use it.

Goddamn it, it's really hard to be culinarily correct.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Brown rice and broccoli for me this evening. Appropriating Far Eastern grasses and Southern Mediterranean miniature trees.

I like how she puts on her lipstick beyond the edges of her lips, in order to give the impression or larger, fuller lips than she actually has.

See Roger Federer culturally appropriated Scottish national dress in an exhibition match? I expect Scot Dutchy to have something to say about this..

Why? Tennis kilts would be a great idea. Far healthier. They would of course have to keep to the strict rule of what you are wearing under it.
