Gender Inequality at Rationalia
Noticed there are very few women present on the boards these days here. Can anything be done to rectify this as it may explain the overall decline of membership here?

"These days?" It's about the same as ever.
Me, Kristie, Hades, Trinity, Rachel, Ayaan, RiverF, Twoflower, Jadestone, etc. etc...
I smell you making bullshit statements to rile people.

Most of the active threads have very little feminine input is all I'm saying. I notice this one is different.Bella Fortuna wrote:"These days?" It's about the same as ever.

And, a fine list that is. Prime examples of womanhood, one and all.

Maybe we can't be bothered with a lot of the circular knee-jerk tripe in them.Scrumple wrote:Most of the active threads have very little feminine input is all I'm saying. I notice this one is different.Bella Fortuna wrote:"These days?" It's about the same as ever.

That's true. Many of the threads are carbon copies and even though I've mostly stopped posting my pointless quips they continue round the same ol' circuit. I keep forgetting woman are really smarter than men and so must pick this up this stuff quicker.Bella Fortuna wrote:Maybe we can't be bothered with a lot of the circular knee-jerk tripe in them.Scrumple wrote:Most of the active threads have very little feminine input is all I'm saying. Maybe you just frequent the wrong threads.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Re: Gender Inequality at Rationalia
I'd prefer unequal rather than inequal the first implies fewer which may be factually correct, inequal implies a power as well as numerical imbalance.
