The perfect scone thingy is finally proven mathematically!
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstop ... ebate.html
The best cream tea has been finally proven mathematically! We now know that the a scone with jam and clotted cream, in the proper order, is the appropriate and mathematically superior scone formation!
We can now rest easy, and the internet has completed its mission.

Before I bother looking, I will guarantee that this is nothing but a disguised advert...
Looking now...
Bingo! "The study was commissioned by Rodda's Cornish Clotted Cream."
These kind of "news items" are blatant attempts to advertise a product without paying advertisement fees or to do so somewhere where adverts are not permitted. They all follow the same format: -
1. Come up with some fatuous, pseudo-science bollocks.
2. Pay a genuine but greedy "boffin" a considerable amount (but far less than what a syndicated advert would cost) to produce a vaguely plausible seeming "paper".
3. Feed the article to a lazy fucker in a news agency (sometimes with a kickback.)
4. Wait for equally lazy copy-writers to cut and paste your "story" all over the press.
5. Profit!

I know, living in the birth county of such a tea time treat, there are some tight-arsed rip off cream tea sellers let me tell you.

I was given a year of free milkshakes once. The year passed and I hadn’t bothered to get even one.
