Nothing can exist?

Post by cronus » Sun May 05, 2013 8:44 pm

Before I was born there was nothing to be perceived and the same after death. My perceptions only include this present moment and my memories are mere recollections in the present moment. So once I'm dead it all ends but then was it in the first instance? Surely nothing can exist and the proof is coming for you soon? :coffee:

Nothing is unstable. It spontaneously converts itself into something. Specifically, pairs of somethings and anti-somethings. Somewhere, in some hidden corner of the omniverse, deliriously babbling with optimism, there is an anti-Scrumple! :tea:

This conclusion doesn't seem to follow from your premises.

Incorrect.

Nothing cannot exist.

There is always the very structure of space-time, as well as that slightly annoying sea of virtual particles popping in or out of existence...
