Are all the major posters here contributing to a stifling malaise preventing the growth of this forum?

A graph of posting frequency here would be highly skewed. I suspect it could only be analysed via fractal geometry...

This forum is very exclusive (and not in the good way) and it does prevent it from growing. But whatcha gonna do?

Can't blame me. I've gone from 20-30 posts a day to 2-3.

And most of those posts were their own threads.Făkünamę wrote:Can't blame me. I've gone from 20-30 posts a day to 2-3.

Re: The Rotten Heart Of Rationalia Preventing Growth
The membership activity stats for the forum would be interesting for all? and numbers up or down should be marked against events? Whilst other 'skeptical forums' are thriving this one appears to be more a cargo cult in steady decline because the cargo planes go to other 'cooler' places.

Re: The Rotten Heart Of Rationalia Preventing Growth
Well, it's fairly simple. If you think that there are features of the forum or its members which are inhibiting growth, this is only a problem if growth is seen as desirable. I'm not particularly against it, but neither am I worried if it doesn't occur...Scrumple wrote:You may have a point? Care to expand on it?JimC wrote:Anyway, I'm not really sure we need to grow...
