A New Abortion Debate For The Middle East

Part of the problem with the spring uprisings, the societal chaos they create and loss of life, is to do with a rapidly burgeoning youth population stemming from religious based anti-abortion and anti-family planning practices. Whilst the dictatorships are falling they appear to be at risk of falling to further religious fundamentalism rather than western style democracy. This goes beyond politics and is to do, I think, with the suppression of women and birth-control mediated via religion. A answer may be to turn to the use of the internet to make Arabic based pro-abortion debate acceptable in the middle east? Although this may be inflationary in terms of the dialectic it should still in time provide a direction away from the dangerous reality of a fundamentalist pan-Arabic caliphate emerging and selling oil to Russian and China in exchange for arms, with a view to European/Worldwide military jihad? Jesus or Dawkins may be a poor defender of your truth, your peaceful way of life, when the enemy is at your door with a Koran and a AK-47? And if you are gay they will have cures for that based on medieval certainty. The techniques being 100% effective as a cure for the same-on-same. This is not about race, from our perspective, but they will make the right-wingers who post here appear like bleeding heart liberals once they escape the manger of the Middle East in a quest for worldwide brotherhood. I am not anti-muslim. I am an atheist/agnostic. This, however, is about the real world politics of our coming times. Europe is not defended and a youth uprising in the Middle East is teaching a whole generation how to fight street battles with real guns and with real tanks. They will not rest on that knowledge once the in-fighting is over. They will re-write history, most deny the holocaust. They will deny you even existed once you are dead. A late abortion to them. Your origins will be taken from the Koran, evolution teaching will be banned on pain of death, and science will be thrown back five hundred or even a thousand years. Religion is a snakepit and the most venomous varieties have always come from the landbridge of the Middle East. Old certainties must be thrown aside and we must embrace a realistic stance to these critical issues. Now before the stock market and the dollar crashes removing Europe's protective umbrella, removing Americas coherency to protect itself also.
