TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Facebook's automatic efforts to connect user through "friends" they may know recently led two Washington women to find out they were married to the same man, at the same time.
That led to the man, corrections officer Alan L. O'Neill, being slapped with bigamy charges.

He wasn't even still with the other woman. He just never bothered to file for divorce.

Bigamy is a stupid law. After gay marriage multiple-partner marriage is next. Just you watch.

Man, there's no way they will make multiple mothers-in-law legal. - It would be in violation of the bill of human rights, or summat.

It's funny. Someone once tried use the slippery slope argument with me on gay marriage. They were like, "Once you open the door to gay marriage and destroy the meaning of it you'll open the door to things like polygamy and marrying animals."
And I was like, "So? As long as it's consensual why would anyone care?"

:hehe:
