Ok, I don't expect everyone to agree with me (you have the right to be wrong

Obviously my first reaction was "I could have some fun with these people"

Aggressive trolling? yeah, I can see that. Part of the problem is that I am not seeking converts, so no need to humour folk.Feck wrote:There are members who are favourable to your view point . But TBH most of your posts have seemed like aggressive trolling even the one above .You make the assumption that we hold our views without thought or experience ,that you have greater knowledge and a monopoly on insight .
I can't be arsed to find it.FBM wrote:I don't normally read stuff regarding economics. What's the thread you're referring to? I'm always ready to have my world turned upside down. I get a thrill out of it, actually. (As long as the reasoning is sound, that is.)

It will either pop up again. or it won't. (wasn't any great revelations)
Mine comes from some Korean printing press, I suppose. OK, conglomerates, big gummit, payoffs, clandestine dealings, yada yada. What's the news?...curious as to where their money comes from...

Sorry. GSD&P here. No derails. :sighsm:Normal wrote:Can we please have some bacon or tits?
Cool story bro.Santa_Claus wrote:I was mildly surprised on this Forum - given both the subject matter and the rather off the wall aprroach to discussions -that my contributions on the economic reality thread appear to have been received so badly.
Ok, I don't expect everyone to agree with me (you have the right to be wrong) and it's the internet so I expect some game playing - but it feels like talking to Jehovahs Witnesses, their is only their view. and it's true. any other view is an outrage. Seems to me that on Rationalia a concensus has long ago formed on how the world is and how it should be (at least ecoomically and politically)- with a disturbance to this settled (and mutually reinforced?) picture being unwelcome.......I can understand that, no one wants to discover everything they beleive in is wrong. Just ask the Pope
but I would have thought on Rationalia folks would at least be open to the idea that things they "know" might be wrong. and to think big picture / outside the box.....even if inconveniant.
Obviously my first reaction was "I could have some fun with these people"but seems more interesting to ask a question about how much questionning of world and self folks actually do. (leaving aside the god shite. it's a no brainer
)
