Re: Problematic Stuff
Indeed, birds of a feather. The Progressive SJWs say that it's "cultural appropriation." The asshat Christians say that it's a "pagan ritual." Two sides of the same coin. Moral busybodies, all of them.Seabass wrote:LOLOL. So this right-wing dummy is outraged over fellow Christians doing yoga. Apparently, doing yoga is "participating in hindu worship". I mean, you can't make this shit up, amirite?
MATT WALSH: Yoga Is A Pagan Ritual. Maybe Christians Should Find A Different Workout Routine.
There are many excellent ways to get in shape that do not involve participating in Hindu worship."
I have been mocked relentlessly for this opinion, especially by Christians who find any criticism of yoga to be not only wrong but hilarious. It is just a given, in their minds, that Christians should feel free to engage in pagan spiritual practices. The matter is not worth discussing.
This is a very odd situation.

On college campuses, douchebag progressive SJWs say that wearing a Trump hat is racism and hate speech. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/02/us/p ... puses.html and https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/gra ... 04bf438e82Seabass wrote:Huh? White supremacist propaganda on college campuses rose more than 250 percent, report says
The amount of white supremacist propaganda found on college campuses grew exponentially in the past year, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League.
The ADL found a 258 percent increase in reports of white supremacist fliers, banners, posters and stickers on U.S. college campuses in fall semester 2016 and fall semester 2017.
Vote Trump can be hate speech.

So some of it's fake. So what? It doesn't mean there isn't a serious problem. It's a hell of a lot more problematic than the shit you bitch and moan about.Forty Two wrote:On college campuses, douchebag progressive SJWs say that wearing a Trump hat is racism and hate speech. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/02/us/p ... puses.html and https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/gra ... 04bf438e82Seabass wrote:Huh? Re: Problematic Stuff
LOL - when Jordan Peterson gets labeled a white supremacist and problematic, then I think it's fair to say that the Progressive SJWs have overblown the "problem" they're bitching and moaning about.
An increase in white supremacist fliers banners and pamphlets? Oh, really? Let me guess what a flier has to say to be considered "white supremacist."
And as far as importance, today, the greatest threat to individual rights, including free speech/expression, is coming from the Progressive SJWs. The prime examples are Laura Kipnis' Title IX inquisition, and that Laurier University incident with Nathan Rambukkana and his two SJW lackeys suggesting that neutral discussion is "problematic." These are the groups that consider freedom of speech to be racist. They're the ones suggesting speech codes, rules for sex, and reeducation training for those who do not conform.
But, we can all have our own opinion as to what issues are the most serious. You're free to differ, based on your own priorities. I've no truck with that.

Yes, Forty Two, we all know you're more concerned with SJWs than fucking neo-nazis. It's why many find you and your ilk fucking deplorable.
And by the way, neo-nazis, misogynists, homophobes, and various other kinds of cavemen are reason SJWs even exist, dumbass. So what if a small percentage of people get a little hypersensitive? The real problem is the fucking bigotry. When the bigotry ceases, so will the SJW-ing.

Re: Problematic Stuff
I'm not more concerned with SJWs than neonazis. I don't see neonazis around, but if I did, I'd be very concerned about them. What happens is deplorable folks like you lump in conservative people under the rubric of "neonazi" and suddenly most everything on the right is not just on the right of center, but neonazi.Seabass wrote:Yes, Forty Two, we all know you're more concerned with SJWs than fucking neo-nazis. Nobody in the US likes Nazis. When they speak, they are lambasted in the media, they are condemned by our politicians, and they are laughed off. They have no political clout. Even their biggest figures, like David Duke, are jokes. Nobody takes them seriously, and nobody is putting in place their policies.
Now, the SJWs are gaining traction. We see it in Canada, we see it all over the US, with various city ordinances, policies in colleges, and we see it in proposed legislation.
When I say they are a bigger threat to freedom of speech and expression, it's because they are the ones who are trying to shut down speech and expression they don't like. When folks on the right do it, I criticize them just as hard. But, they don't do it as much. The Christians have been pretty much cowed these days - they don't even protest movies that are anti-Christian anymore. They just live with it, maybe with muted commentary. The lastt movies that got Christians trying to silence anything was the Last Temptation of Christ, or maybe Dogma. Put out a documentary on the Men's Rights Movement, or hold a conference on "men's issues" and you'll have violent reactions, mass protests with people screaming to obstruct the events, fire alarms being pulled, and calls for prohibition of the events as "hate speech." So, yeah - they bug me.
The problem isn't being against neonazis. Everyone pretty much is against neonazis. The problem is that dumbasses like you and the SJWs go around and try to paint everyone they don't agree with as neonazi. I saw them calling Jordan Peterson a nazi, and a racist, and a misogynist, and all that. They fucking tried to get a young TA fired at Laurier University because she "neutrally" (which was problematic) showed a 3 minute video from the CBC show "The Agenda" with Steve Paiken. They threatened and harassed the attorney for Jian Ghomeshi, dubbing her a "rape apologist" and "traitor to the cause" for defending the man accused by three women who were proven in court to be lying.Seabass wrote: And by the way, neo-nazis, misogynists, homophobes, and various other kinds of cavemen are reason SJWs even exist, dumbass. I don't care if they're hypersensitive. What I care about is what they are advocating.
And nothing will stop the SJW complaining except people standing up to them.
Irrational bigotry is wrong. We should judge people by the content of their character, and not the color of their skin. However, even that concept espoused by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is under attack from SJWs, who think it's "problematic." https://www.mediaite.com/online/u-of-or ... ve-enough/ (they didn't remove the quote, yet...but they were close -- it's not inclusive enough - doesn't "represent us anymore" - lol)
They do things like this: http://claremontindependent.com/shady-p ... rotestors/ Lists of demands - "Lists of Shady Persons of Color" to combat dissenters....
So, defend those jerks if you want, but they ain't liberal. They ain't rational. And they ain't pursuing a form of justice I support, that's for sure.

Re: Problematic Stuff
Arent Infowars, Daily Caller and Breitbart "neonazis?" LOL
The last pic you posted is a few Klan assholes, and yes, they are abysmal. But who takes them seriously? Who respects them? And, frankly, if they want to stand and march and waive a flag -- "...singin' songs, and carryin' signs - mostly sayin' hoo-ray for our side!" Then so be it. Their opponents can, and do, counter-protest, and marginalize their message. According to the ADL, there are an estimated 3,000 Klan members and unaffiliated people who "identify with Klan ideology." That's 3,000 combined "members and unaffiliated but identifying with the ideology." Out of 330,000,000 people. They're a joke. If they get violent, they should be prosecuted and jailed.
The middle picture is interesting. Looks like a big fight, and i can't tell who is whom. There are some BLM signs and I can see some leftist and communist signage in there too. What's that pic of?
And, the media rightly lambastes the KKK and neonazis every chance they get. Compare that with how leftist riots and violence are reported? It's as if they didndoonuffin. CNN cut a clip of a BLM protestor making it seem like she "called for peace" when really she was calling for the rioters to stop burning down black neighborhoods and burn down the suburbs where the white folks live instead. https://www.mediaite.com/online/cnn-edi ... for-peace/ (a mother, calling for peace... says CNN, when she's calling for them to go attack white people).
It's not that the lefty rioters are "worse" than the few KKK/neonazi assholes around, it's that the lefty rioters get cover from moderates and the media who portray them as good, kind, caring people who are on the side of right, when they certainly are not.

These are the asshats that like to talk tough and say that they have the moral right and obligation to violently assault those with whom they disagree politically. If they think you're a "nazi" which pretty much means anyone who says "free speech is great" and "I don't like affirmative action," on up, then they think they can beat the shit out of you rightfully, and they have allies in the media who publish articles discussing the merits of that claim as if it has some validity.
They set cops on fire in Paris --

Re: Problematic Stuff

You know, I can live with their window breaking, setting people on fire, and beating short-haired people up on sight - but the "This Machine Kills Fascists" sign is kinda funny -- Woody Guthrie stole the line when he became a patriot during the War -- Woody, that staunch communist, pro-Joseph Stalin, champion of the Soviet invasion of Poland, and, of course, white supremacist racist -- but "this machine kills fascist," yeah buddy! Nice sign, though.
