They would have exterminated all the 'sub-human' races in Africa which would have stopped the spread of AIDS before it emerged. I'm not condoning their dirty work but it would have had a number of positive side effects like this. No they wouldn't have been able to do any of that. Though since your indulging in nonsense hypotheticals, they'd have invented nano-technology in 1971 and become immortal crystalline clouds of holy light and spread the Ein-Volk into the universe.
