Certainly I support the right of people to end their own lives peacefully, in situations where there is no hope for improvement, and that, in some circumstances, this would require assistance from others.
However, there would need to be strong safeguards to stop potential abuse by people who may benefit financially.

I think most people who are against euthanasia are afraid it would be used on them. Unjustifiably in many cases.
