Gallstones IS A GIRL? :o Well there goes the sterotype of girls being meek and kind and caring about the feelings of others....

 I never knew other girls made jokes about other women about that thing. Oh, well. LP has about as dirty a sense of humour as I do.

Manofnofaith wrote:Me and Matt H. had a little fight in the prison reforms thread-I forget the exact title. Gallstones removed all the comments by both of us relating to that argument(Matt was being a deuchebag, and I called him on it). I thought that was a little disturbing. It should have been left there as an educational lesson. Gallstones has demonstrated similar behavior on other occasions as well, locking threads and then editing them into a tidy new conversation that never happened. Seems a little Orwellian to me.
I'm going to say it aloud. I was genuinely completely and utterly shocked at Gallstones being appointed as a mod. He has in some ways cooled his jets a little as I've seen it, from my own vantage point, now that he's a mod - but he is fully expert at being sardonic, vicious, curmudgeonly, dogmatic and a little more besides. He had been one of the members on my "unpleasant" list for quite some months - so when I saw him in blue, I was aghast.

I've had no inkling of him being able to see different sides of an argument, or of even being diplomatic, ever. Maybe that's just my limited experience of him - but in any case - he isn't exactly a model candidate.

At this rate, I'm worried that they might approach Redwhine about a modship... :coffee:
Redwhine as a mod. Now that's just scary. He trolls regularly, making no relevant or coherent responses to things elsewhere in the thread. I think there was one about smoking that I was posting in. He was just blathering on and on instead of actually READING what people wrone and composing a logical reply.

Well that's what it's all about! Those best in "power" are those that don't dwell on that position at all - and particularly those who have no particular desire to be in that particular "status". It's almost a Catch-22 - but you've definitely managed to toe that line.

Now to work out what Pappa's Welsh nonsense says.
Then they for sudden joy did weep,
And I for sorrow sung,

And go the fools among.

It really is farcical. The only talents of his that I've seen are snideness, sycophancy, and a penchant for trying to ruin threads that would otherwise be productive with plenty of snide sycophancy that doesn't change as his arguments get knocked down. He's a real one-trick pony when it comes to arguing, and that trick is most certainly not grounded in logic. And he doesn't even do it with any level of wit either. I'm sure he is of some use to the staff with regards to standing there to piss off anyone who tries to complain, on the staff's behalf - even if he does it in a rather sub-intelligent manner - but is that really grounds for modship, I mean, really?

God have bloody mercy. :coffee:
