We've all seen a person with "large" eyes. But are their eyes physically larger, or is it just that their sockets/surrounding-stuff give the appearance of physically larger eyes?

Both, but makeup can certainly make eyes look larger than they actually are.

They built them for car-jacking from what I read.

I've often thought about sending remote submersibles around the world. It would probably be very challenging, and I'm sure there are legal considerations too.
