That's what I don't get. It's OK to abort a fetus on the grounds it cannot look after itself, cannot survive alone and yet dementia which makes you into a empty brain dead husk, a biological photograph of what once was, is considered sacrosanct.

The people making abortion decisions are also emotionally involved. I'm just pointing out that there's no inconsistency between the way we presently treat fetuses and the way we presently treat elderly similarly dependent on life support.
